Senior Platform Engineer

Design and operate internal developer platforms that make secure delivery the default path for Avero product and client teams.
Responsibilities
- Own paved-road CI/CD, environment provisioning, and golden paths
- Partner with security to encode policy as code in delivery pipelines
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and self-service UX
- Mentor engineers and document platform contracts clearly
Requirements
- 5+ years building platforms, DevOps, or SRE systems
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, IaC, and CI systems
- Comfortable with security controls in delivery paths
- Clear written communication for internal platform docs
Nice to have
- Backstage or similar developer portal experience
- Multi-cloud networking and identity patterns
